My Alert for Station Closures

I am only using Transperth in a metaphorical sense, and in no way single them out for criticism.

As we blunder into the future together, I would have thought most people would want a planet that we can all live on. We hope to go to a sustainable future, but are told, like I was last night, this is uneconomic at the moment. Shouldn’t it be the role of economics to work out how we can survive on this planet? It seems to me that economics is only being used as an excusefor not doing what it would take to achieve a sustainable economy.
